SINFULLY DELICIOUS
.
Roy brought me out yesterday in celebration of my successful job hunt. So we met late in the afternoon and enjoyed Haagen-Dazs' Belgium chocolate and raspberry ice-cream. Scoop after scoop but he just couldn't bring himself to savor the raspberry ice-cream. He is so truly, madly, deeply in love with chocolate but I guess the occasional sourish expression does look cute as well. Hee...

We caught Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix later in the evening and we had to agree that it wasn't as good as the previous shows. With the lack of action, I guess I'll rate it 3 out of 5 stars. Anyway, I look forward to catching the sneak preview of Knocked Up tomorrow evening. I'll do anything just to get a good laugh.

We were cold and hungry by the time the movie ended, and I was fortunate to receive a sumptuous treat at his favorite Outback Steakhouse at Millenia Walk.

For starters, we had the Bloomin Onion and trust me, I have never tasted onions done this creatively which was served with their spicy ranch sauce. For the main course, I had the Alice Spring Chicken while he had the Rockhampton Rib-Eye. The chicken breast was gilled to prefection, every bite was juicy and tender, and the cheesy mushroom and honey mustard sauce just leaves your mouth craving for more. Although I don't take beef, I believe it's equally as delicious because he finished his plate clean! By the time we had dessert, we were already almost full to the brim. So we decided to share the Chocolate Thunder From Down Under, which is pecan brownie served with vanilla ice-cream and topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Everything was so good but dessert was my favorite because it's just so sinful!

It was almost 11pm and with such a heavy dinner, it's amazing that we could still walk and make our way to the bus stop. I had a great time and I hope I didn't burn too big a hole in his pocket. Hee... Arigato gosaimasu!
