JUST ME AND MY CLIQUE
.
Caught up with some of my good friends today. Nadia, Saiful and Rafiq are still as funny and crazy. Thanks for all that laughter. For a moment, I thought I might just lose my breath and die of laughter. Hahaha... I need not even have to spend on blusher, my cheeks blush naturally when I am having a good time!
.
After the movie, Silent Hill, we had Burger King and subsequently McDonald's. Talked, debated, grossed each other out and lots of laughing. Shared views on the possibility of women with four husbands each and women being loaned to men in some countries. (I will still go for variety.) *Winks However, I still could not get over those wacky moments at McDonald's... The Happy Meal snapshot, Saiful's funny noise and my stupid accent. By the way, thanks Saiful and Rafiq for giving me a deeper insight into men's behaviour. Not only do men don't get the ladies, I don't get them too! Haha...
.
I am currently listening to songs by Lin Jun Jie. Trust me, I cannot sing but may only make glasses crack. So please beware! Nevertheless, I still love music and I think those who play certain musical instruments are sexy.
.
Great, I have just been kissed by dearest mosquitoe probably because of the Chocolate Sundae which I had earlier and is now in my blood stream. Perhaps next time I might consider taking more tonics and durians so that mosquitoes will bleed through their noses, if they have any, whenever they bite me. Hehehe...

A DAY HOME WITH ME
.
Today is like any other regular day for me. Had gone to the gym and did my usual workout. Completed my 10km jog/walk in 73 minutes, another 10km of cycling for 15 minutes plus 50 sit-ups and some light weight training to tone my arms. Felt great!
.
It has been a long while since I had instant noodles. Because it has been a cold and wet afternoon, I cannot help resisting a hot bowl of noodles. Nissin CQYD (Chu Qian Yi Ding) chicken flavour instant noodles is my favourite... Yummy! To make my meal extra delicious, I added chicken sausage, egg, mock abalone, lots of vegetables plus some fried onions for garnish. Simply mouth watering and tasty. *Drools.
.
Tomorrow I will be leaving for Malaysia and my bags are partially packed. It will be a long trip, approximately 11 days and hopefully, the mosquitoes do not suck me dry. Hahaha... On the bright sight, I will be spending Ringgit and not Singapore dollars!

MONDAY BLUES NO MORE
.
Today was a day full of laughter and smiles for me.
Shopping, movie and making animalistic noises was fun!

.
Across Parco Bugis Junction is a famous coffee shop that sells duck rice and porridge. I had duck porridge this afternoon and it was so tasty. The meat was tender, the gravy was superb over my porridge and the pig intestines tasted like tender chicken meat, though I am still not quite used to the smell.
.
ICON, a shop at Bugis Point, is a place I would recommend male shoppers to stop by. Selling exculsive imported t-shirts from Europe, L & G, its designs are simple yet trendy and unique, and it is made from the highest quality of cotten... Very comfortable and great for our hot and humid climate. With the ongoing Great Singapore Sales, Chung Siak got a nice cool looking t-shirt at S$34, usual price S$49.
Do check it out if you happen to be in the vicinity.
.
Although some of the scenes in the movie, Over the Hedge, were a little exaggerating, the characters were so cute and comical that I laughed throughout and simply loved it! So catch it before it is over.
.
I have no idea how and when it started but I was nicknamed Cow-Pig and even had a unique sound attached to it... *Mooink! (Moo + Oink) Gosh, I am not sure if it is an insult but it sure did made me laugh so hard till I could feel my intestines tied in knots. Thanks friend... With all that laughing, I think you need not have to worry about passing that cold of yours to me.
.
It has been a long day but it was certainly a day well spent. Mondays are not always as bad as I thought it might be.

LOVING MYSELF TO THE FULLEST
.
Within a week, I have visited two spa centres.
It has been a wonderful experience and I simply LOVE it!
.
My first experience was at AFOND Leisure Spa located at Holland Village. Together with Chung Siak, we tried the Invigorate Wellness Spa which lasted for 90 minutes and cost S$140 per couple. This include the Exotic Strawberry Scrub and Aromatic Body Massage.
.
The ambience was beautiful and comfortable and I was provided with my very own private treatment room with shower and locker. The staff were pleasant, friendly and professional, and I had a great time chatting with my masseuse throughout the whole session. The massage was relaxing and I could feel my tensed muscles, especially around the back area, loosen after my morning marathon walk with the elderly at a charity carnival. After the whole session, we were served a nice hot cup of tea... Exactly what we needed on a cold and rainy afternoon. We felt great, energized and ready to shop!
.
Today, I gave mum a surprise and have brought her to Anjana's Spa at Upper Cross Street. We tried the Romantic Escapda which lasted for 80 minutes and cost S$128 per couple. This include a Full Body Scrub, Goat Milk Jacuzzi and Full Body Massage (Swedish).
.
The ambience was cosy and simple although I felt that it could have been better with more privacy given such as having a private shower room within every treatment room. The staff were however friendly, helpful and welcoming. Despite that the jacuzzi tub was a little small, soaking and feeling the warm milky water bubbling against my body felt relaxing and good. The massage which involves more gentle strokes and some 'knocking' felt soothing and comfortable till I nearly dozed off. After the whole session, we were served a warm cup of ginger tea, which has a touch of sweetness and leaves a nice soothing feeling on your throat.
.
On the whole, I still prefer AFOND Leisure Spa and will look forward to having another relaxing day there... This is what I mean by "Loving myself to the fullest."
