CELEBRATING MY TWENTY-ONE YEARS

A big THANK YOU to everyone for their birthday wishes, presents, treats and happiness they have brought to me. Though it is not a grand affair, it is the thoughtfulness that brought many smiles to my face. Thank you.

So what does turning twenty-one means to me?
.
Firstly, it means that I have survived through the many ups and downs in my life, and more importantly, I am still standing strong with a good set of limps and health.
.
Secondly, my circle of friends have expanded while some of them have certainly left pleasant memories behind. No man is an island and no one can live without friends. They are like pillars that supports you even after an earthquake with a magnitude of 9.5. Haha...
.
Lastly, I am very fortunate to be born in a peaceful and prgressive country, have an education, sufficient clothing, a sturdy roof over my head, money to spend and a family still intact. There were times when I wanted so much to leave home as long as running can take me away from everything and everyone. But in reality, running is never a solution. Apart from thinking rationally, I guess it has to also be the care and concern from those who loves me that keeps me from running.
